I'd avoid the chiropractor at all costs. They are not safe in my opinion. I'd stick with what my vet told me to do and watch him carefully. A vet is the only person who can tell you you need an xray. I would ask about it, but if the vet already said one isn't needed, there is no reason for you to waste your money on a dog chiropractor. I would never let a chiropractor touch any of my dogs, ever, not even if they wanted to do it for free.
