Have you asked about IBS? Rosie has been diagnosed with it. We have numerous vet trips due to tummy issues and finally got this diagnosis. She is having to eat Science Diet I/D. So far so good since our last incident.
About the bloodwork, my vet will not do anything without doing blood work first. It is expensive but I think it is worth it. I think it is about $200.
