I haven't bought anything or even gone in a petshop that sells dogs in over 10 years. Years ago I got to the point where I could not see those precious dogs' faces and then walk out, knowing they had only a 50/50 chance, if that, of getting a decent home and life. As far as spending my money there, I had stopped doing that long before I quit stopping in just to see the dogs.
I took the pledge and hope we all do it! Those people should be drummed out of business as they have no feeling at all for the well being of the little sweethearts they sell to whoever walks in the door. Great thread!
