I hid the first couple of GEs from my DH too. I didn't want to hear him tell me how silly "he" thought it was not because he'd be upset over money. Then, little by little as things came in the mail that I ordered for my buddy, I told him. Then, OMG, a box came for us and we sat in front of him (while he watched TV with remote in hand) and opened it. He was shocked and humbled as much as we (dog and I) at what was in the box. He actually said, "people really send that stuff?" He has no idea how big the world really is and the good that is out there. He always sees what I make and shop for but he hadn't really seen us receive. Now he thinks its pretty cool and I don't hide anything from him anymore. He's starting to have as much fun as I and even make suggestions. (we don't talk about that though)
