It will take time to train your puppy, but you need to start right away. We've had Ozzy for a month and at first the challenges seemed too much but already he's come a long way (he's 4 months old, too). He hasn't had an accident in the house in 7 days!

Read lots, have patience. It gets better, but it does take a lot of effort.

I recommend the book "How to Raise the Perfect Dog" by Cesar Millan. It's really helpful for learning about how your dog thinks and grows and acts. He has some useful training techniques, too.

Are you training your pup for indoor or outdoor potty?

Ozzy doesn't know "come" yet either, but we haven't trained him for that yet. Right now we're concerned with potty training consistency and "sit". I think "come" will be the next thing we tackle. Enjoy your new best friend. It'll all be worth it in the end.
