Wow. Super jaws. Maybe you should consider putting him in a carrier in the back seat. I know they have seat belts to secure the carrier in place. It probably is the safest method of traveling with a pet.

I couldn't use a harness with straps as Gracie can slip out of them easily. The Puppia vest harness is one piece and very secure. I don't know if a dog could chew it but I'm pretty sure it will work well for the little ones.
