I am a cafe manager at a k-5 school and have been offered the chance to manage the 6-12 as well. Schools are only 5 min apart, would it be too much to ask for half of the old managers salary as compensation? They might add a part time person. I hope this promotion happens because we have not had a raise in 3 years and I have been contemplating going back to school for a career change just to make more money.
