All 3 of my yorkies and my grand-yorkie have had rabies vaccinations. Carter, in fact, has had two rabies vaccinations. None of them have had any adverse reactions to the injection.
My vet did warn me that a "knot" may develop at the injection site and not to be alarmed if it did.
I live in south Louisiana where we have raccoons, possum, amadillo, nutria, rats, mice, etc living amongst humans and pets. I feel its better to be safe than sorry but also, I choose to be a law-abiding citizen for the welfare of my neighbors.
