We were definately not prepared! In fact, 3 weeks before we got Toby, my other dog of 18 years passed away. We were not looking for a dog or another animal or anything like that.
We just kind of fell into Toby. His previous owner couldn't take care of him any longer, but he did come with all of his shots/neuturing/all that stuff and all of his toys and crate etc. So that was nice. So he came prepared for us lol!
But he has been such a great and loving dog, I would never trade him for the world!
