It's a good question. I would be afraid that the snail mail may not make it in time. And even if it does who's to say it won't be sitting on someone's desk unopened?
I think a professional email might be a good idea. Also, be careful where the email is coming from. You don't want to send an email from an email address like this:
sexymamalovesyorkies@hotmail.com Just sayin'.
