Just back from vet. Gracie made it through surgery very well. Not a bad kidney as we had really hoped. Her pancreas is badly abcessed (sp?) but no tumor. Cleaned it up and sent off for pathology. Should hear from that early next week. She can make it through this if it comes back clean with no cancer. It will be a very long recovery, probably up to a year and most likely she will be diabetic.

If all goes well the rest of the morning, I will be going back to bring her home this afternoon. She was wide awake, up and moving when I left her.
Thanks for everyone's prayers and good thoughts, please keep them coming. I truly appreciate it, you just don't know how much. God knows what he is doing and I have to trust in that.
