Well I had what I thought was a good face to face interview yesterday with guy #1. He has to clear hires through his GM so he said he'd call me today.
This morning guy #2 called me & I told him about the other interview just so I didn't come across as being sneaky or something & asked him if he wanted to talk with guy #1 first. He wanted to, so he called me back this afternoon. He scheduled me for an interview tomorrow. The other guy didn't call at all so I don't know what exactly is going on.
I was told that they are separate companies, but you can transfer between the restaurants freely if a position is open, etc. He also said if they think you are a better fit somewhere else they can transfer you. So I'm wondering if they have decided on the second place as long as the interview goes well. I have exact experience with almost all of it, where I'd have to learn some new things at the first one.
Hopefully I will have a definitive (and positive) answer tomorrow!
