I had Lizzie at the vet this morning because she just hasn't been right. X-Ray shows a BIG MASS (at least 5cm), in her abdominal area. She goes back tomorrow to have a Ultra Sound and possible needle Biopsy. We need to see if the tumor/mass is on Kidney, spleen or adrenal gland. It's hard to tell on the x-ray that is why an Ultra Sound is needed. If it is the spleen we can't do a needle biopsy because of too much bleeding and she could bleed to death.
I so don't want to have her opened up at her age of 14 1/2 yrs old. She just doesn't do well this stuff. But if push comes to shove I guess I will have it done for peace of mind.
She is on pain med's now, as she is experiencing slight pain.
