My boyfriend's friend just sold him a 6 week old puppy. Ugh. I know pups dont need to leave their moms until at least 9 weeks old. I'm kinda worried about it.

Does anyone have any pointers on strengthening its immune system?

We took him to the vet, but hes still too young for his first set of shots.
