My little yorkie is almost 3 y/o, and I believe that she has a cottony coat. Initially, I tried to grow it out, but her hair grows kind of wavy and ends up looking pretty scraggly. I've kept it puppy cut, and she look adorable that way, but her coat still looks a bit on the wavy side. Her hair's not dry or frizzy, just wavy? Am I using the wrong shampoo or doing something else wrong?

Also, she started out changing colors early on, with light brown to her face and silvery to her head. The silver started to spread down to her shoulders and back, but then stopped. Now, the silver on her back is pretty much gone, and the silver on her head is blonde, and the light brown to her face is dark brown. Again, should I change shampoos or is this normal for the yorkies?
