I used to eat fairly healthy before, just all sushi and chicken salads during the day, and cooked dinner myself at night. However, in 2008 when we lost our home and pretty much all our income, we went from eating $9/person for lunch, to $1 burger drive thrus 2-3/day. Needless to say I've put on about 10-15. We are just now starting to eat *real* food again, and feels nice to be able to eat at places were you tip.
So today me and bf each shared a ham, turkey, swiss sandwich with one of those green ortega chiles, and a lox, tomato, onion bagel. We ate it in the car, and Uni was in the back, and kept whining and every so often who scoot up closer to the front seats. Then let out a big sigh, and rustle the plastic bag so we would pay attention to her.
That was for breakfast, now I am thinking about lunch. but I want to take a nap first.
