Please keep in mind, the text,
Small Animal Clinical Nutrition, was written by the founder of Science Diet (Mark Morris Sr.) and his son (Mark Morris Jr.). That leads me to believe that it is impossible to avoid bias in that book supporting the products they are in business to sell and profit from.
