Did your vet explain that ringworm is a fungus of the skin and not a parasite like the name implies? It can also be passed from your dog to you. Please do not feel like a bad mommy though, because it is very contagious and it can be picked up from other dogs and the surface of many places. Also, it is very common for groomers to pass ringworm from dog to dog if they are not disinfecting their equipment between dogs.
