Ok Don't laugh.....
I have the rescue and I had one big old mastiff with hard bristle hair. I fed him good old Wesson Oil in every meal for like 6 months and he grew the softest most awesome coat. We got him a home with an experianced mastiff handler and she said he had the softest coat she had ever seen on a mastiff and was VERY impressed!!!!
