Hi everyone. I'd like to introduce myself and my new baby Ahi...yes named after the fish.
My name is Roni and i've been waiting to own a Yorkie for over 5 years.(And i'm so happy!) My hubby named her and yes he is a fisherman.
She is purebred but didn't come with papers. It's ok though...I love her just the same. When I got her at 8 weeks she was a whopping 13 7/8 of an oz! She is gaining quick and is now about 1lb. at 10 weeks. lol She captured my heart the moment I laid eyes on her in the pet store. My kids picked her up and didn't/wouldn't put her down. She was just put out that day and while we were there about a dozen other people came in to look/buy her.(Pet store was calling everyone on their list) Ahi had a couple of brothers with her but yes (call me bias) she was the cutest and the smallest and everyone was waiting to get their hands on her. I was trying to call my hubby on the phone to get his "permission" to buy her but he was way out in the ocean and I was not able to reach him. I made the decision myself and i'm glad I got her. Everyone that was waiting in the store was waiting for us to put her down. Glad my kids knew better.
So now my kids have a new baby sister. She is spunky and already learned how to sit on command.
Sorry such a long story but i'm so excited that we have her.
