You know, in 8 years, I've always been ready to return after any break. But, THIS time...no, I wasn't ready. I did NOT want to leave Deuce...he's just so small. The room is working out ok...although I did come home to them running the house..they'd broke the gate down. I didn't have it up tight enough... I did fix that. And, tonight when I got home, I caulked the floor gaps where cold air seeps in. It's supposed to get down to 32 tonight and 26 in a few more nights.
Yes...we have soooo much fun. I just wish I could get them to QUIT EATING MY WOOD! They WILL NOT leave the wood (for the fireplace) alone in the house. I think they have a wood deficiency. |
