Hi, my concern is the amount of dry food im feeding my 12 week old puppy. I weighed out the required amount of food that suposingly is the recomended daily amount, and it seemed enormous compared to the size of my babies belly. There is no way he could eat it all in one day. He has been gaining weight every week around 100 grams a week (3.53 ounces), until the last 2 weeks (weeks 10-12) where he has gained 350 grams (12.35 ounces).
Im not even feeding him probably half of the recommended amount prescribed, but im concerned hes not eating enough or that he will gain to much weight if i feed him more food.
Can anyone tell me the average weight gain he should be gaining each week and do you think i should feed him more food like its says....... He currently weighs 1300 grams ( just under 3lb) now at 12 weeks old, but i dont want him huge either.
