Default Can you recommend an electric or battery operated toothbrush?

When we rescued our Yorkie last March, he already had alot of tartar build up on his teeth even though he was only 2 years old. We took him to the vet for a dental. When our vet called to report she had finished the procedure and he was awake, she really "read me the riot act" on how important it is to brush his teeth EVERY DAY. Fortunately, he's very easy to handle and LOVES the taste of doggy toothpaste, so it hasn't been hard to follow the Doctor's orders.

But I remember that when I switched from manual brushing to a SoniCare toothbrush, I was astonished on how much cleaner my teeth felt. So I'm thinking that I'd do a better job on Wendell's teeth with some sort of electric or battery toothbrush. But I have two concerns; noise and size. Have any of you found an electric or battery toothbrush quiet enough that it doesn't startle your dog? Have you found one with a brush head that is small enough for a 5 lb dog?
