I had it done in one ear because of a nasty infection. Drops put in to numb, then needle to drain. It was a long time ago. Not sure how many doctors really like doing this anymore...
It just felt weird. It was like a pressure/rubbing, but no pain. I felt much better when the pressure was relieved. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again if my doctor though it was needed.
