Good thoughts and hugs to you and Coco. My Sassy was 8 months old when she was spayed in June. she went into heat and I didn't know until it started. I had to wait a month for all the swelling to go down before the vet would spay her. She came home the same day, she had inside stitches so she didn't have to wear one of those fashionable collars, she would have found some way to rip it off. She came home groggy, with pain meds which she got 1 time a day. I gave them to her for 4 days just to relax her, I have 3 other Yorkies. She did great, after a few days she was eating great and acting like nothing happened. I just tried to keep her from doing any crazy stuff because she is my "wild child".
