I stick with one food, period...my pups have never been malnourished, rarely have GI upsets and are quite healthy. They eat dog food...I don't have to put extras in to get them to eat.

The I/D is the only thing that is needed. And particularly in this case where there is no more money for care and another round of pancreatitis could cost her her life because of it, nothing extra should be added to complicate things.

As for the cottage cheese, it's not that it's bad for dogs. It's that a lot of dogs are lactose intolerant and cottage cheese can still cause an issue with it even if it happens more so with other dairy products. If the intestines flare up, the pancreas can flare up. There is just absolutely no reason to risk it.
