Dixie started with diarrhea this morning twice. No blood, consistancy of pudding (sorry if I offend anyone with the details). She has thrown up once, consistancy of oatmeal - her meal from last night? Partially digested? A little listless today, but still alert and curious to sounds. I will give her some rice to see if that helps with the diarrhea. If she throws it up I will have her fast for 24 hours to give her system a rest. She is well hydrated and so far is able to keep water down. My eskie threw up twice yesterday, but is fine today. Must be some bug that's going around or maybe the stress from the holidays catching up to them. I hope your baby feels better soon. Let us know how it goes at your vet visit. |
