I like bows with clips. I like the ones Amy sells with gripzie clips especially! Her website is: Darlin Beauxs~Top Quality Dog Bows for your Pampered Pet

Amy is very helpful and will answer any questions you have. However, I generally put the top knot in first with a little latex band (I get mine from the dollar store or I use the ones Amy has sent with our bows. The dollar store ones are colored!). Then, after I have the top knot in, I loosen it by putting a comb between Rylie's head and the band and pulling up gently (I hold on to her roots so it doesn't pull/hurt her). I make sure that she can blink with no trouble (The first time I put the top knot in too tight and she couldn't close her eyes! ). Then I slip in the bow with the gripzie clip and viola! Beautiful

Anyway, I hope this helps some! Good luck!
