My dog's nails are always too long. I can't stand to do the trimming myself as I freak out that I'm going to hurt him. I can't let mom do it because I freak out with her doing them. Dad can't do them he is blind in one eye. So I take Bentley to the vet once a month and pay $12 to have the vet tech do the nails. I hate it when I get an inexperienced vet tech doing his nails because they never do it right and they make him bleed. GRR So I'm torn. If I can figure out a way to calm myself down to do it myself I'd do it. Though Bentley wouldn't like it one bit. But I'm gradually getting used to the idea of doing it myself. I may actually buy a good pair of clippers so that I can do it. Not sure when I'll get around to buying them though.
