My dad had to have a large part of his ear taken off and the plastic surgeon made it look like you can't even tell.
My dad battles it every day, too. So did my grandpa. He's never had melanoma but he's had the others, including the kind that turns into a horn like protrusion from the skin EWW. My dad had a large part of his ear and cartilage removed as well and you can't tell he had surgery. I was impressed.
