But I also bought bull trachea which I gave to Max this morning. I bought 12" because I'm paranoid of the boys choking on small pieces. It was like handing them empty paper towel rolls. Max went right into his bed and started chewing. It didn't crack like some of the other bones. It's not brittle, but it's more like the way a bully stick is eaten. It became soft and chewy. Max absolutely loved it! He had it for 1/2 hour and barely got into it. It's perfect for him since he's on crate rest the next few days

Has anyone tried giving their dogs trachea? What are your thoughts? Here's the link to the trachea: Beef Trachea 12" - Moo Tubes - Windies

Here are some photos. Cooper hasn't tried it yet but he's enjoying walking around the house with it all day.

Ewww! Poor Max is probably thinking his Mommie went out and killed something for them, but in the back of his mind he's wondering if he's next! Why is our Mommie making a bully graveyard in da house? (JK)

Raw bones are supposed to be the safest thing out there...
