The treats I got are the Blue Bits. They are about the size of a edemame - but in a nice little heart shape. I am very stingy with these because I know we this will be a work in progress with little miss "I only have to listen when I want to" Abby - LOL! I have been breaking each heart into 3 or 4 pieces. This is the first time I have given them something other than their dry food or biscuits. They think any little piece is a great reward.
For the potty pad training, I have been using the Peanut Butter tube that Kong makes. (Could buy a large jar of jiffy for what these cost!) I squeeze out a tiny bit and let them lick it off after they have gone potty where they are supposed to. In fairness, it has been over a month and I still have the same tube. |
