Does she hear other noises and react to them like being startled?

I remember when we suspected our rescued collie was hard of hearing we told the vet and when Sebastian wasn't looking the vet clapped his hand real hard behind his head. He didn't even move. The vet kind of smiled and said "yep, deaf as a door knob."
