Although Dori does not eat canned food, both her vet and trainer said it is perfectly ok to feed a high quality wet food AND dogs much prefer it! For your pooch's size, I think you are expecting him to eat too much. Dori is a 5 lb. Adult and only eats 1/4c. twice daily.
