Just enjoy having her with no topknot she doesnt have hairs in her eyes for a while then.
It takes Fido about 4-6 months to grow a topknot.
I shaved his topknot in February, I started using plastic/rubber bands in him in June.

It could help putting conditioner often in the coat, I always take Fido about 3 days after his bath ( I bathe him on fridays, I do this with Fido on monday-thursday) and just wash the coat with water very well, then put conditioner and NOT wash it out, just squeeze the water thats left out of the coat (you cant squeeze all but most of it will go) and then blowdry Also I mix in a spray bottle about 1 part of conditioner (just the conditioner you use when you bathe your yorkie) and about 3-4 parts water, and spray it on the topknot ! This helps Fido's coat grow and it conditions it so well, you can do the bathing with only conditioner as often as you like but not use shampoo then just water and conditioner ! cause its not good to use shampoo more than once a week.
