I had my Baby Chan who is 10 months old and super itty bitty spayed yesterday. I had the blood work done a few weeks ago to make sure she was in good health. When I brought her home yesterday after surgery she was all groggy and she looked so weird. Like a person would after anesthesia and surgery. She was also on pain meds. Last night she moaned and groaned as they said she would. But this morning she was up walking around and starving! I fed her little bits at a time so she wouldn't throw up! And now this afternoon... I'm trying my best to make her relax but she wants to play! I have meds for the next 3 nights to keep her calm and pain free, help her sleep. I've got a cone on my baby, and she doesn't mind it at all, luckily! Very necessary as I've already caught her trying to lick her wounds! I was worried sick too! But try to be calm. My thoughts are with you and your baby. |
