Oh, one more thing. I watched L. Hays walk Jackpot and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the way she walks him! She was kind and gentle with him. That dog looked at her and never took his eyes off of her. There was NO pulling, dragging, or jerking. It was a pleasure to see someone who loves her dog as much as the dog loves her. It was obvious that the Jackpot wanted to perform and please her. After watching some of the professional handlers walk their clients' dogs - I'd be very careful choosing one. Several had puppies that they were literally dragging around. Some of the same ones were walking older dogs and were pulling up on the leash so hard their front legs were up off the ground and their heads/necks were held up too high - which I believe isn't good for their throats. It actually upset me watching them! And these are well known handlers!!! To be honest - the best handlers were the owner/handlers - hands down!
