I've been using frontline for 11 years....I live in an area with a high risk for lyme disease, with this year having 52% more adult deer ticks than last.......have not yet pulled a tick off any of these dogs. Not a flea ever. I like the product, it has not caused any side effects in any of my dogs and is a safe choice for even my epileptic dog. There is no way I'd ever omit a flea and tick medication living here in New England. I would not use a generic product. I usually get a rebate when I buy several doses at once.
