The second option under Messaging and Notifications is Default Thread Subscription Mode. Pull down the arrow and choose No Email Notification.
If you ever do want to be emailed when posts are made to a thread, you can make that change whenever you post or create that thread - that way you get emails only for it and not for all the others.
