What is a Biewer ? OH MY this is a controversial topic. It is just my opinion but I think, they are beautiful pure bred Yorkshire Terriers that carry a mutatation and or recessive gene that affects fur color and possibaly other physical features. At risk of sounding ignorant , I have read everything I could about Biewer Terriers and Parti colored, Born Blue, and Red Leg Yorkies. It is my understanding when DNA tested they are Pure Bred Yorkies. I am always open to be educated by people, who know more than I do. I respect the right to develop new breeds, because once upon a time all dogs were mongrels and WE made them what they are by selective breeding programs. |
