Speaking as a person with 15 cats and 5 dogs I went through many a fight between cats and cats. Cats are very possesiive and territorial. I never thought about getting rid of any cats. I did delcaw one of my cats because she was wild which helped a great deal. I also bought a real large cage for one of my cats who we took in from the street and she is very happy in her own domaiin. I don't give up and although it takes time mostly the outcome is good. Now the cats tolerate each other and I don't have to worry about anybody getting clawed. I would do anything to make sure that the cat wouldn't go to a pound because I know what would happen to them. |
