I had a 15 pound "yorkie" according to the papers from the pet store and the AKC. She was a great dog, and it wouldn't have mattered what breed she was. She passed after 16 years and now I have a mutt that I love. If you love your dog and they love you, breed doesn't matter. I have learned the pet store lesson too.
