Sad Hudsons Magical Mojo --Vet Update

I have to say....what a wonderful group this is! Thank you all for your thoughts and your concerns.....as soon as I get more time and my baby is better, I will post more pictures for you all to see this little cutie!

Okay, the vet is keeping Mojo for a few hours.
The vet tried to get a poo sample, but there was nothing in there to get, she said that she tried pretty far and still nothing. AND his little belly was so tight and full! I told her everything....can't climb his little stairs to the bed/couch, not going to bathroom (#1 alittle, but no #2 until this morning & it was runny and very little), panting constantly, shaking on and off, not moving, not eating much, etc.

I told her that I had given him NutriCal last night because I didn't want him to go into shock or anything and that he finally ate a very small amount around midnight. I did give him more NutriCal this morning, he normally likes it, but this morning, he didn't want it.

I asked about the chewies we give him and she said that Greenies were perfectly safe for dogs...even though I mentioned the numerous articles I had read on it. She said that she wasn't for sure on the Dingo Bones, but I almost think they are a rawhide bone with a bacon flavor in the middle - anyway, those will no longer be given!

I told her that he does have an aggression when it comes to his food...he seems to have to have someone standing there for him to eat....like he wants to play/fight over the food....don't know where this would come from or how we can fix it. I wonder if the small Greenies "bits" would be better for him? I know he chews the Petite bones fast.....unless he hides them.

Anyway, the vet is keeping him because she said that she would "clean his bowels out" and go from there.....she said that normally if there was blockage, he would be throwing up what little he eats....is this the case? She said that she would also do the x-ray (depending on the "cleaning"). Oh, she did say that he would be on an IV to get fluids back too.

I will have to wait three hours to hear back from them....if no response then, I am to call. Wish us luck and pray that it isn't something serious! (She said it might just be a bad cause of constipation, but atleast they are working on all angles...not just blowing it off). Course, I am anal when it comes to this little guy.....they know that too!

Thanks again and sorry for the long post....just wanted to share all they said and that happend to maybe get answers and/or help others.
