You are absolutely right, for inexperienced Vets in Yorkies, they think the yorkie they are seeing has an enlarged heart which it may not be at all. I would first see a Vet very FAMILIAR with Yorkies that know what they are looking at when looking at the xray. Any yorkie breeders in your area that could perhaps refer you to a good vet familiar with Yorkies.
Unfortunately Vets that are a small animal practice, ie, all dogs and cats are not usually that familiar with particular breeds.
