Maggie was playing in the back yard with her sisters and yelped/cried. Then she was holding her right rear leg up and wouldn't put it down. This went on for 2 days so we took her to the vet and she has grade 3 LP. The vet gave her a shot and some meds to come home with. We had to keep her crated or calm for a couple weeks. She has been fine since then, but we are SO afraid it will become a chronic problem and require surgery. We are being careful with her for now. This sounds like you may have the same problem.
