Laws........ From what I have read, the puppy has to be checked by a vet on the other end (Korea) and has to be of a certain age. Since dogs are treated so horribly in Korea, who knows where their papers are coming from and if written in Korean, who can read them on the receiving end here in the US.
Until they are stopped from importing, we'll probably never know. A lot of complaints from people that say their puppies are exceeding the weight they were told, which is good for the dogs. If you pay out $8,000 for a dog to tuck in your pocket that "is estimated to be no more than 2 lbs" and it ends up weighing 8lbs. I guess these people have a right to complain. They just need to be educated and also warned. |
