No, absolutely not! You are not a bad person! You didn't know any better at the time, and neither did I. The point is to do your best to educate people who don't know now that you do, bc they may not be as lucky as we were when we didn't know any better. Sometimes advice falls on deaf ears and it's frustrating. You just do what you can and hope that if at least you changed one person's mind it was worth it.
