Teddy at some point was diagnosed with that too. We went through like three rounds of different medicines before we finally found one that worked for him. Just make sure to give the medicine as prescribed and if the coughing doesn't get better take him in again. Sometimes some medicines work for some dogs and others don't so just make sure to keep an eye on him. If it's what the vet said, then it should clear up. It took Teddy up to a month and a half to completely clear up but with all dogs it's different.
