I came down with a bad sinus infection and middle ear infection 3 weeks ago. It has left me with clogged ears and I can't hear a thing! I'm going to an ENT tomorrow.

In answer to your question, I've used a nettipot for a few years now. It has been a life saver when it comes to my allergies. I've been using it at least twice a day for the past 3 weeks. It DOES help clear out your sinus passages and relieves some congestion. I've also been using Sudafed 12 hour. This has helped tremendously with my congestion. The pharmacist asked if I had high blood pressure, too. It makes my heart race a little faster.

The doctor also told me to use plain Mucinex. It will also help thin the mucous some. He told me I waited too long to get control of my sinus infection and that caused my middle ear infection.

P.S. I'll have to ask questions to the ENT tomorrow about side effects from the use of a nettipot. Interesting.
