With all NSAIDS, Rimadyl or Metacam, pets should have routine blood and urine tests and physical examinations to monitor kidneys, liver, lungs and heart.
If a pet is on any other medications, the vet should take that into account before prescribing.
Crystal, what is the reason for your preference? Just curious in case Max ever needs another NSAID.
